It’s not their responsibility to educate you. Look that information up yourself if it’s something you’re interested in. You’re just being negative without any reason. Reintroduction programs are working around the world.
I think the experts are a better judge of this than you are. And if you want to be that negative about a positive story, maybe go to a different community.
Did you even read the article? He was bred in captivity and was going to be used as part of a breeding program to enhance the numbers of this species which is endangered in Germany. Maybe don’t release them before breeding unless they are better suited to being immediately released to the wild like this young Chapo is.
Breeding and release programs for endangered wildlife are good things.
He looks so happy dashing off.
This species is endangered in Germany. This is a good thing. And no, lynxes don’t generally primarily pray on birds. They can target larger game.
FFS, read the article.
I have never seen anybody do that. All white people know that bread ties are cat toys.
Last month Ron DeSantis, the state’s rightwing Republican governor, signed into law a controversial bill that allows the public to shoot and kill bears for a perceived threat to “a person, pet or dwelling”.
The legislation was drawn up by the Republican state congressman Jason Shoaf, a keen hunter according to his biography, who claimed in February that “bears high on crack” were breaking into people’s houses and “tearing them apart”.
At the time the Guardian was unable to find a single documented incident of any bear in Florida ingesting crack, and Shoaf did not return a request for clarification.
What planet do these people even live on?
Canadians do, too. Though they are a type of American.
Having had a few of them with never so much as a minor running toilet, I would recommend Toto. They “just work”.
I wish, but I didn’t have electric hookup available and didn’t want to call in an electrician, so it’s a pretty standard toilet aside from the flushing system (which works perfectly and doesn’t run!).
Fixing a running toilet was so much easier before gravity flow took over everything. I even bought a Japanese toilet recently because the gravity flow device in my standard American toilet just would.not.seal., even after replacing it. Thing was driving me nuts.
So instead, I had my dad install a toilet for me! Go dad.
Yeah, we all know. You’re “just asking questions”.
You’ve also made it clear that you don’t understand how modern zoos tend to work. They are often rehabilitation centers. And yes, we clearly do need them to do the conservation work because it’s not being done otherwise.
