I love pictures of buns mid-hop

Probably 2 or 3. Posting them for the benefit of people reading this:

Fun fact about buns #2: A bun’s ears are so powerful, they’re sensitive to radio & satellite signals! This enables them to watch TV with their minds!

Fun fact about buns #3: Buns are incredibly intelligent! So intelligent, that they’ve engineered for themselves rocket-booster shoes! This is what enables buns to hop very long distances!

Pretty out there but still distinctly connected to some known thing about rabbits.

Now that I think about it, I have not actually read Watership Down but I think I heard somewhere about its bunnies only being able to count to 4 or something. Fact #A feels like a fun move in the opposite direction.

I love how the bun facts started out somewhat related to peoples’ ideas about bunnies and now they’re just way out in left field.

I wonder how many bunny stuffed animals actually reflect the part of the tail on the top/closest to the bunny that matches the rest of the fur. I’m not aware of any, but I am aware of ones where the tail is only white.

The stat in combination with the post just makes me think. Those 60% of younger people might have 37% of older generations agreeing with their views. Or at least being neutral. People are not just their generation, and people of all ages have individual differences and places where they differ from the norm. Somewhere, someone not in your generation agrees with you.

I remember I was sad a lot in my childhood, and why. I still look back on it fondly, likely because now I know how the things that made me sad get better/solved in the future, and because my childhood was free of a problem I currently struggle with now.

And on a much shallower note, the pop music that got played everywhere all the time was music I actively enjoyed.

In your defense, “Segway” is a real brand of some kind of transport thingy, which might be where you picked it up.

I initially saw 2 buns, this comment was helpful for finding 3&4. Also would have helped me to know that they are within the shadow as well as close to the edge!

I keep coming back to this post. A wonderful non-blurry picture of a bunny mid-hop.

I always envy people who manage to get nice close-up shots of a bunny. Nice job!

the bunny answer to the longcat meme

Makes me think of weaponry which immediately makes my brain go to this Skyrim mod called Don’t Kill Bunnies.

Bunnies now have an ungodly amount of health and will shoot fireballs at anyone who attacks them.

My eyes went straight to the grass the bun is eating, probably because in this timelapse it is flickering about like mad. I really expected more of that grass to disappear into the bunny’s mouth than it actually did.
