Nah “want” is the goat of absurdity here
It’s for pastas, soups, and alcoholic beverages
It also goes well in a Bloody Mary according to my Canadian ex
Sorry I prefer supernatural clam juice
I for one appreciated both aspects of your comment. It’s good to understand both yourself and others and to seek to find a balance between genuine self expression and consideration. Also it’s good info that many lack
The aggressive compliments are one of the things I’ve always appreciated about middle eastern cultures. Does it feel silly if you aren’t used to it? Of course. But it’s just nice to be around and enjoyable to reciprocate
Tikka masala is English food no matter how Indian it seems
Oh so they don’t like being on the receiving end of disinformation campaigns? It’s hard to care even if it was true after how long they’ve been on the other end of them. But also it isn’t true, they did it
I am one and it’s peanut butter every day. For 3 years basically every working day has had a peanut butter sandwich. And that’s how the next 30 some years are looking too. It’s fine. I can live that way.
Yeah I just make a peanut butter sandwich and prep some fruit and bring it to work. Easy, healthy, and filling
You’ve fully convinced me to use green energy. Ideally from a New England company
China or oil? Which do you want to be more dependent on at the moment
Generally it isn’t. The term comes from a meme that involved a gif of an actual trans woman (Bailey Jay)
I for one want us to arm the ftc
It really depends on what kind of library you’re at. University libraries: you may not find a spot to sit if you’re at the wrong time, hell I know a professor who hangs out at a different university’s library reading and writing; major city public libraries: there’s probably a few people doing so and it isn’t weird; small town/suburb/small urban branch public libraries: it’s very local culture dependent, but you’ll definitely find a decent chunk of them seeing it as strange
That’s how it should be. As a childless 30 year old I want kids hanging out at libraries. Ideally I’d like them reading and discussing literature, but just being somewhere that they have access to information is better than not
Society doesn’t exist for the sole benefit of the upstanding and idealized. I want libraries to exist for those striving to gain education for self betterment yes, I want them to exist as places of entertainment and existence for those down on their luck as well, but also a place where a person who is intoxicated in a way where they aren’t causing a disturbance can embrace the beauty of the world is also a valuable function.
And shit, I wish there could be weed and acid/shrooms days at zoos. I’d love to trip at a zoo
They certainly were particularly vocal back when I was an ensign
